Salem MA: Ives & Jewett. 1837. First Thus. Hardcover. Fair. No Jacket. 32mo-over 4"-5" tall. . Union-AM. This scarce item of 112 pages, has a santa in a sled pulled by one antlered reindeer on yellow paper over boards cover. The engravings include a Frontis, "William in the Garden, " and then "William and His Father By The Sea Shore, " just before the story, A Rambling Chapter, at page 84, "William With His Parents. " The inscription on the fronte dfree end paper reads "A. E. Edmonds from T. Thayer, Andover, Aug. 1837. " Condition. Covers, tip[s worn to the boards, staining to the upper left corner of the cover, interior, a few pages have chipped edges. Basically, in Fair condition, with most of the pages nice white cotton rage paper, and a little foxing. .
