Garden City, N.Y.: Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc, 1928. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo (large). Early edition. 432 p.p. Original cloth boards are faded and sunned at spine and edges. Paper spine label has brown lettering and some rubbing. Bumping and rubbing to spine ends and corners, some smudges to boards. Roughly cut edges. Text is bright and clean. Green patterned endpapers. Ink ownership inscription to FFEP. In 1998, the Modern Library ranked Point Counter Point 44th on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century. Instead of a single central plot, there are a number of interlinked storylines and recurring themes.
