The book is stated First Edition (1931). 268pp. A nice copy, tight binding, with just a touch of light wear; some marginal noted and lines to the text in Matchett's hand, else Very Good in a Very Good jacket that has shallow edgewear, a couple closed tears, and tanning to the spine. // Noted literary theorist, author, poet, this is Burke's first book and a cornerstone of of all his later works; and is one of the few works of criticism to be included in Harold Blooms' Western Canon.
