Price clipped dust jacket. Sixteen stitches in the binding. Reinforced cloth hinge. Light spotting to the covers and light rubbing at corners. Only evidence of the EXlib status is remaining glue where date slip and card pocket were removed from the 2 pages following the text.

A pocket appears to have been removed from the back, but I see no other library indicators.. Hardcover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Children's.

Small 8vo., unpaginated, with Tudor's full color illustrations. Bound in publishers blue cloth and full color illustrated dust jacket, price clipped. Dust jacket is very worn with numerous holes - see photo. Previous owners signature inside front cover as well as bookplate opposite title page, otherwise clean and unmarked. Dust jacket is now protected in mylar sleeve.

The County Fair is one of the more difficult Tudor books to find in a first edtion. Secondly, this is in the even more rare paper binding. Of the copies we have handled, this is only the second copy we have seen with paper over board covers. The rest were all in cloth. The cover shows some soiling and light insect chewing. The interior has the age discoloroation you would expect to see in a 75-year-old book, but still a good example for the price.

USA: Oxford University Press, 1945 The red cloth boards are very good, does have a pin size spot on the front board. Measures 4 x 5 inches. Dust jacket has an inch missing at the top of the spine, has some edge tears one has been taped from the inside. A faint stain on the back , maybe were a glass may have been set, moisture ring very pale. . Price on the dust jacket is .75 on the bottom right hand corner.
