First edition, "75 copies [unnumbered] specially imprinted for the friends of David Magee and Lawton Kennedy" printed on verso of last page. 8vo. (14) pp. Frontispiece. Laid in is a piece of letterhead from the Magee Book Shop, with the typed note "With the compliments of DAVID MAGEE." A short humorous glossary of terms for the budding cataloguer; among them: "First Issue: If your copy has the dropped 'o' on page 49 stress it like mad. And don't forget to double the price ... Stains: These should never be identified. Blood, jam and ink all look like cocoa after 200 years." Very good. Orig. red-and-black printed off-white wrappers, stapled. (10625).
