Within the text there are numerous black & white and coloured photographs and sketches of various racetracks, along with a small map showing where the racecourse is. Photographic paperback binding with gold and white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. A second, expanded and updated, edition of the author's work on racecourses in Victoria and Southern New South Wales, but this time including race tracks of South Australia and Tasmania. Minor creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. A little age toning of the textblock edges a previous owner has placed some newspaper clippings at the rear of the book.
