Translated by Alys Eyre Macklin from the original French. Listed in Locke's Spectrum of Fantasy, Bleiler's Guide to Supernatural Fiction, and Hubin's Bibliography of Crime Fiction. Good copy in soiled and darkened yellow cloth boards with red lettering on spine. Cloth worn at corners and spine ends. Front hinge is cracked and pages are browned on the edges, otherwise complete internally.
