Reviews

On Mar 13 2020, a reader said:
Sam Forest, The Curly Wolf, to perhaps spoil the beginning of the book for you, is dead, shotgunned to death. When Jim Corbett comes to town everyone wonders who he is. And it's not long before they find out at the wrong end of a gun. Frank Gruber's long career was built on this type of story dealing with mysterious strangers, or of people living under assumed names, or of being on the vengeance trail. This book has all three. A fine addition to any Frank Gruber collection.
