London: Vanity Fair, 1872. Near Fine -. 1 chromolithographed print 36 x 23 cm. by Jacques Joseph Tissot. Jacques Joseph Tissot (1836-1902) was a French illustrator who moved to London; his caricatures began appearing in Vanity Fair in 1869, signed variously as JTJ or Coidé. With the leaf of biographical text. James Delahunty (1808-1885), an Irish Liberal Party politician, represented Waterford City in Parliament, where he advocated for taking the British currency off the gold and silver standard. In Near Fine- Condition: upper left-hand corner slightly soiled; otherwise, clean and bright.
