(48), 538, (12) pp. Uncommon Paris-edition of Xenophon’s Cyropaedia, a historical biography/novel of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenid Empire. Cyropaedia is often referred to as a mix of historical biography and philosophical literature. It presents Cyrus as an ideal ruler and leader, emphasizing his virtues, leadership qualities and methods of governance.
