About This Item
Argentina: Published by Durer Verlag, Buenos Aires, 1949. 1st Edition, 1949. Soft cover. Very Good. Wolfgang Willrich. Dafur kampfte der deutsche Soldat (That's Why the German Soldier Fought) By Wolfgang Willrich. Published by Durer Verlag, Buenos Aires, 1949. 1st Edition. Card covers with lettering and illustration, size 18 x 25 cms, 31 pages on art paper, 7 full-page prints by Willrich. This title is extremely rare with a very small print run in Argentina after the war. The book was assigned to Willrich in 1944 by the Office of High Command for the Army but Germany's defeat forced publication after the war in Buenos Aires. Very scarce and in very good condition (with the exception of some handwritten text on the bottom of the front cover and a very small amount of handwritten narrative on 2 inner pages) in Collectors Slipcase.
