London: Chapman & Hall, 1872 New edition. Hardcover book . Original green pictorial cloth wih gilt decorative titles and motif, and black stamped decorations and motifs. 761pp, plus publisher's catalogue. With 44 etchings with mezzotint by H.K.Browne (Phiz) in plates, tissue guarded, including frontispiece and title page. Very Good: bright, clean covers with slight dulling to spine, small cloth tears around spine. Pages are clean and unfoxed, some light foxing to catalogue pages at back, light browning to some tissue guards and plates. Back endpapers have old water stains. A very nice copy with excellent illustrations which has some unopened pages. Pictures available.
