VIII, 311, (1) pages, in original red cloth covered hardcover binding with an illustrated dustjacket. The top and bottom edges of the boards are flecked and discoloured. The dustjacket is slightly rubbed on both the top and bottom edges, and on the left-hand side of the spine just above the printers colophon. The front panel of the dustjacket shows foxing. Internally clean, and free of annotation.. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Reading creases on the spine, age toning of the page edges.
