About the author

Dennis "Denny" King was born in Georgetown, PEI, Canada. The Day They Shot Reveen - Stories from small town PEI - is his first book. Denny comes from a long line of story tellers. His father Lionel, uncles Donald and Jack were known to share many tales from their youth spent on Boughton Island during the Great Depression. Denny is proud to be carrying on the family tradition and relishes the opportunity to share his unique and entertaining stories with audiences of all ages. Denny is part of hit storytelling group - The Four Tellers - who have been entertaining audiences in eastern Canada with stories that make you laugh and cry. When Denny isn't writing books or telling stories, he runs a communications consulting firm in Prince Edward Island and does play by play broadcasting for Canadian college hockey's University of Prince Edward Island Panthers. Denny lives in Brookfield, PEI, Canada with his wife Jana, sons Jake (21), Callum (8) and daughter Camdyn (12).
