London: Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd., 1900. No date, C.1900-1910, first edition (and presumably only edition), 4 chromolithographed plates in concertina form that fold out to create a large panorama with 14 numbered card figures of cats, and corresponding numbered slits in the panorama to insert the cat figures. On the reverse of the panorama is a b/w story rhyme with b/w illustrations also by Loius Wain. Publisher's chromolithographed covers, with pocket in the rear panel to house the cat figures. A very good bright copy. Covers slightly worn around edges, folding joints expertly and inconspicuously reinforced with conservator's linen. Full complement of 14 figures all complete and bright wih minimal wear, the odd one with minimal repair to the reverse. Small part of rear pocket flap replaced. A very good to fine copy of this rare Louis Wain "toy book".. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket. Illus. by Wain, Louis. 4to Landscape (approx. 30 x 27cm).
