New York: The Dial Press, 1984. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First edition. Topedge foxed and binding trifle foxed, an otherwise bright, very good or better copy in a very good dust jacket with modest rubbing a the spine ends and a couple of edge nicks, a short tear on the rear panel with a neat internal tape reinforcement, a slightly longer split (with tiny L-shaped tear) at the upper flap fold, and a small corner crease at the spine ends. Signed by Paretsky on a label laid down on the title page. An imperfect but still bright copy of the second V.I. Warshawski myseter.
