About the author

Brenda Gunn, a registered medical insurance professional, received her training from Kansas City Medical and Dental College. An animal lover, she cares for abused and neglected pets and raises rare and exotic animals. She lives in Kingsville, Missouri, near Kansas City.
Shannon Richardson, a former prison guard, has had ten screenplays optioned and was a Sundance Institute finalist. She has guest lectured at The Kennedy Center and the American Film Institute. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and completed her graduate studies at Southern Methodist University. Richardson lives in Durango, Colorado.
