Forty full-page plates by Hablot K. Browne [Phiz]. Early issue with following points -- two line errata leaf, no half title, vignette title with Cuttle's hook in left hand, "Delight" instead of "Joy" (p.284), page number 431 present. ECKEL pp.74-76. SMITH 1:8. YALE/GIMBEL A103. Interior contents and plates generally clean, toning to back cover paste-down and free endpaper, extremities and joints rubbed, binding firm and tight.
