From the collection of the late Professor Malcolm Deas, an English historian who specialised in the study of Latin America, whose pencil monogram is noted on the FEP, and whose pencil marginalia remains extant. Jacket is lightly foxed, and edges are creased and nicked, including a couple of small abrasions at the upper edge, front side. Board edges, corners and spine ends are slightly bumped and marked.
