It is not even fiction with a basis in fact. It recounts only actual incidents in which I took part as an agent of L'Espionage Centrale, the Secret Service of the French Foreign Legion, in Tunis and Syria. With the exception of a few pseudonyms, there is no departure from strict accuracy." From the Foreword. Previous owner's small name stamp on front pastedown, minor browning on some preliminary pages and on some rear pages, book is slightly cocked, wrinkling at top/bottom of spine, light wear at corners, slight fading to spine color, very light browning to edges of text block with one small foxing mark on fore-edge. Hard Cover. Very Good -/No Jacket.
