The late Diller was an American stand-up comedian, actress, author, musician, and visual artist, best known for her eccentric stage persona, self-deprecating humor, wild hair and clothes, and exaggerated, cackling laugh. She appeared in over 40 films (including 'Splendor in the Grass') and many TV series, including her own variety show and sitcom. She was also the author of 'The Joys of Aging & How to Avoid Them' and the autobiography 'Like a Lampshade in a Whorehouse - My Life in Comedy'.
