About This Item

Whittlesey House / McGraw-Hill Book Co., 1932; stated First Edition, no additional printings indicated; ix, 195pp. Inscribed by Jay Darling on front end page, to fellow cartoonist/humorist H.T. Webster ("To H.T. Webster // With all the queer feelings of a cartoonist in the wrong pew." // [Signature"). Good/Good- hardcover, missing the scarce dust jacket. Binding is sturdy and fully intact; grey cloth boards are worn at corners, else wear to edges is minor; cloth toned around edges and on spine, red titling very lightly rubbed, otherwise remains bold and text; illustrations and text very good, two interior pages unevenly toned from laid-in newspaper clipping (appears to be unrelated to book/author).
