This book was published to celebrate 50 years of the Thessaloniki Film Festival and on the occasion of the exhibition "Giant Photographs and video from almost half a century of Dionysis Fotopoulos's involvement with cinema". The book contains twenty-two of the forty films, on which the artist has worked, with archival material and photographs, trying to shed light on the atmosphere during shooting and backstage, as well as the manner in which the sets and costumes for a film are constructed and the secrets in this craft. Besides presenting the work of Dionysis Fotopoulos, the aim of the publication is to honour all those collaborators and unseen workers whose work lies behind what we see on film. The texts in the book include notes, excerpts and memories of such moments, from those film shoots. // La publicacion se realiza con motivo del 50? aniversario del Festival de Cine de Salonica y la exposicion «Fotos de gran formato y video del casi medio siglo de dedicacion de Dionisis Fotopoulos al cine». El volumen incluye veintidos de las cuarenta peliculas en las que ha trabajado el artista, con material de archivo y fotografias, intentando poner de relieve el ambiente de los rodajes y las bambalinas, asi como los modos y los secretos de la elaboracion de los escenarios y el vestuario de una pelicula. Ademas de presentar el trabajo de Dionisis Fotopoulos, la publicacion pretende rendir homenaje a los colaboradores y trabajadores anonimos que se encuentran detras de la camara. Los textos del libro son notas, fragmentos y recuerdos de momentos de este tipo durante los rodajes.
