Uniform full calf gilt, by Riviere, (signed), with double labels to spines (in blue and red) and elaborate gilt decoration; marbled endpapers and page edges, occasional light spotting and toning to endpapers. With the bookplate of WG Nicholson and dealer tickets of Wllis and Sotheran and plain Sotheran. Signs of expert repair to casing at top and bottom of the spine in volume I only.
