Illustrator: Photographic. the previous owner had carefully protected the book with archival plastic, so that the binding shows minimal signs of handling and age. Unfortunately they used sticky tape to secure the plastic, which has left stains on the front and rear inside covers. Previous birthday wishes at the top left of the 1st page. Otherwise clean and free of annotation. The book describes those species of freshwater fishes most commonly kept in the aquarium. Their biology, breeding habits, general maintenance of aquarium fishes, transportation and preservation are all covered. We seem to specialize in non mainstream stuff but read and stock Science-fiction, fantasy, detective fiction, history, biography and true crime, war, natural history. cooking, children's books and try to avoid current text books.We probably have the largest collection of Science Fiction, Penguins and general crime in Victoria in an open shop ( David has 8 bookcases 900mm x 2200mm of sf and f) ( Penny has 8 bookcases 1200mm x 2400 of sf and f )
