In this work, Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993), a financial journalist and free-market economist, outlines an essentially negative critique of the then-proposed Plan, predicting turmoil in America and indolence in Europe. Hazlitt remains known for his Economics in One Lesson (1946), in which he introduced Austrian School economics to a wider American audience. Octavo. Original green cloth, front cover lettered in gilt. With dust jacket. Very light rubbing to extremities, cloth and contents bright; jacket with light rubbing and chipping to extremities, spine and front panel faintly sunned, damp stain to rear panel, unclipped: a near-fine copy in good jacket.
