About This Item

[Farmington Hills, MI]: [Horizon Press], 1997. Hardcover. Small 4to. Green paper over boards, pictorial dust jacket. 384pp. Fine/fine. Red inkstamp on front pastedown of this true first edition states "Pre Publication / Review Copy." First edition of the second Dr. Alex Seacourt thriller, signed (initials as usual) large and sloppy by Davis in black ballpoint on the front flyleaf. (The 1998 second printing is easily mistaken for the first, since its copyright page bears the standard number line with "1" present. This number line is lacking from the true first edition, which instead states "May 1997" on copyright page; the second printing also bears different pagination and has 392 pages.).
