About This Item
London: Adam & Charles Black, 1948. Unclipped dustwrapper is in poor shape, being in two pieces (torn in two at the spine) with the top and bottom two inches or so missing at the spine, also creasing and tears elsewhere. Fading to spine of red boards where dustwrapper portions are missing, original owner's gift message dated May 1949 on f/ep, but otherwise a not too bad, tight copy of this hard-cover book. Part of the publisher's "Black's Colour Books" series on English counties, this one looks at Dorset. Originally published in 1925, this is a 1948 reprint of the 1932 second, revised, edition. 200pp, 32 colour illustrations and a map.. Hard Cover. Good/Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
