About This Item

London: Gollancz, 1933. First Edition. Hard Cover. First UK edition, First printing. 8vo. 288pp. Publisher's black buckram boards with yellow titles to the spine. The spine (and spine lettering) is slightly faded; a touch of mild fraying at the head of the spine; there is a bump to the bottom right-hand corner of the front board; a neat former owner's name and contemporary date to the top left-hand corner of the front paste-down; a hint of foxing to the early/late pages of the book; and the front free end-paper is browned. Overall, still a VG (or slightly better) copy with clean boards. No dustwrapper. Quite a scarce title. Fenwick A1a. First book. One of 1,500 copies. Photographs/scans available upon request.
