Dark blue coated lightly textured cloth boards, sharp gilt impressed cover and spine titles, border, light shelf wear. Cover features oval sepia portrait of infant child decorated with flourishing gilt borders. Pages very good; few small areas of discoloration to first few. Cover portrait of child is repeated within book, protected by semi-opaque page guard with printed caption in red: "Dians love for the beautiiful child was little short of idolotry." Frontispiece portrait of the author with fine page guard: "The Author of 'The Dream Child,' Florence Huntley, from a photograph taken for the first edition." Antiquarian inscription at front endpaper: "Mrs. L. M. Cunningham's book, Presented by Mrs. Anna Beaumont of North, Yakima, Washington, left in care of Mrs. Louise Scott, Westford, Pa." Light blue endpapers; moderate discoloration. Bind good, intact. Rare original matte brown dust wrapper with cover titles and symbolical columns and borders in dark brown and black, moderate edge wear, chip, rub; protected in fine clear sleeve. Near very good volume in same rare wrapper. From the author of "Harmonics and Evolution" and "The Gay Gnani of Gingalee." Dedicated To all Seekers After Truth.
