New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Very Good. Inscribed by Robbins on the front endpaper. Good in a Very Good George Salter jacket, clipped, lightly rubbed and creased, soiled at the back panel. Blue cloth, faded at the spine, stained at the edges of the boards, some spots rubbed through. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, clean internally. Robbins' novel about people in the early filmmaking industry who "were not prepared to become tycoons of a giant new industry.
