The very scarce author's proof copy of the second edition of Dublin A Study in Environment in the original paper wraps. With John Harvey's signature to the first free endpaper. With 'Second edition, revised, 1965' to the publication page.First published as part of Batsford's series on European cities, this work is a detailed analysis of Dublin's role as a city, its influence and residents, and its relationship with European culture and civilisation. With the author's handwritten notes and corrections throughout the text, particularly to the index. In the original paper wraps. Externally, sound. There is no spine as issued. There is some bumping to the extremities, alongside some small tears and creases. The front board has a crease down the centre where it has been previously folded. The boards are slightly age toned. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with light age toning, the odd spot, and the author's notes in ink throughout. Good
