The life of Mussolini, dictator of Italy from 1930-1943 when he was ousted from power. He was the key person in the creation of Fascism by destroying opposition using his secret police and having outlawed workers from going on strike. He led Italy to side with Germany in WW II. Green full cloth binding is clean, with red and gilt titles on spine; spine has a few dark dots on lower portion. Spine head and heel gently rubbed. No other edgewear. Sewn binding is solid and tight, square with sharp corners. Internals clean and completely free of any markings or creases. Frontis: Benito Mussolini in 1921. 9.25 x 6 inches. 447 pages with Bibliography and Index. 1971, The Viking Press, New York, New York, USA
