'The Duke of Oblivion' tells the story of the unexpected adventures which occur during a cruise from Florida and Venezuela. Classed as a lost race, or lost world novel, this type of adventure story was very popular at the time, featuring far-off, exciting places where new discoveries could be made.Illustrated with a brightly coloured frontispiece by H. Weston Taylor. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original binding. Externally, excellent, with light shelf wear and light marking to the cloth.
