Description

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1919. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. First edition. Bookplate of Percy Stickney Grant, fine in a nice, very good dustwrapper with several internal repairs. Nicely Inscribed by the author in 1920 to Grant, with a nine-line poem. Wheelock has also Signed his name at the end of one poem in the text with the note "fragment of a bad poem," as well as Signed his name on the front panel of the jacket. The Rev. Dr. Percy Stickney Grant was the longtime Rector of the Church of the Ascension in New York City, and author of a number of books.
