Few works go through as many editions as Henry Gray's 'Anatomy.' 1887 FOLIO Rime of Ancient Mariner Coleridge Gustave Dore & Paton Illustrated

Known as one of the English Lake Poets, Samuel Taylor Coleridge was one of the most notable 19th-century English romance poets. Coleridge's longest poem was 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. This poem was one of the most important poems written at the end of the 18th-century, as it was known to begin the shift from the Romantic period into the Modern period of English poetry. It describes the sea voyages of a sailor who experienced dangers, adventures, and even supernatural encounters!

This huge 1887 edition is notable for including the illustrations of Gustave Dore and Joseph Noel Paton. In addition to the highly desirable art, this edition features commentary and critical notes by Alfred Trumble.
