About the author

TOM BARNARD has 35 years of experience in Christian higher education and administration. He provides weekly inspirational and devotional writings, which are read and enjoyed by Christian leaders from multiple denominations around the world. Before retiring in 2001, he served as dean of students at Southern Nazarene University and as vice president for student affairs and vice president for Institutional Advancement at Eastern Nazarene College. Tom lives in Oklahoma with his wife, Madelyn; and teaches a growing class of adults at their church in Bethany, Oklahoma.
