Hardback, 1905, with 19 illustrations and one foldout map, published by Methuen & Co., London, 300 pages + xii and 40-page publisher catalogue at rear.
Octavo/8vo. Measures around 9" by 6" by 1 5/8". Red cloth binding, black lettering to front board, gilt lettering to spine. Some discolouration to spine. Scuffing and a little marking, some signs of shelf-wear, slightly bumped corners. Binding reasonably firm, slight slackness to upper spine. Page edges browned, foxed and scuffed. Slight tear to rear inner hinge. Some foxing throughout page surfaces, though mainly in endpapers, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
