Included is a letter send to Louis Bromfield asking for his signature by Alfred Kaiser and Louis doing so,the author signature is below the fold and boldly inscribed and signed. Now about the book: it is a Second Printing before Publication nine days before the offical release date in Oct,1926. A 1st Printing is also known as an Advanced Reading Copy,2nd Printing is the 1st trade edition,the 3rd was released Nov 3rd 1926. Green Cloth covers with gold lettering same as the ARC. This one has minor wear at the spine ends with light soiling,spine ends are begining to show signs of fraying.sight toning to the inside covers,and front 1st leaf beging to crack,former owners Rockwell bookplate inside front cover,1st leaf has Name Address Date of either an owner or giver of the book,otherwise this would be in the Near Fine range.Very tight and square,very presentable copy.. 1st Trade Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
