About This Item

Quebec, no Date: Photo-Lithographie. Facsimile of the 1905 Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 300 pp. Reprint of the 1905 edition. Illustrated with photographs and drawings. Father Macmillan, in his preface, speaks of the difficulties he met due to the lack of early records. This makes his book more important, as his primary sources are no longer alive. The binding is tight and strong, but the last 2 sections were misbound, and the edges are discolored. The red covers are near fine. Dustjacket stained on spine and flap edges, with price intact.

We've been in business since 1975, over 25 years with a general antiquarian bookshop in Bangor. We are open by appointment; most of our stock of over 20,000 old and rare books have never been listed online, including a large selection of books on Maine and the Maine Woods.
