Jayanti Alam had conducted Intensive studies on "Communist China's Policy in North Vietnam" when Vietnam was suffering Inhuman US imperialist aggression Later she conducted extensive studies on China's Tibet as well as on the women (from all classesand occupations) of China. She was invited as a State guest twice to China and Tibet. Her first researched book The Tibetans In Exile is translated both in Manadarin and Tibetan and Is available in all the major libraries of China. The author had carried out extensive field study in Arunachal Pradesh and written and published "The Buddhist Women of North-east India and Southwest China". (It Is a comparative study) Her third book "Tribal Women Workers" was on the tribal women of Jharkhand. She has special Interest on and empathy with the tribes of India-- the most neglected and deprived In India. The author has a minimum of 35 articles published in various national and international journals. A collection of a few of those published articles, titled "Religion, Patriarchy and Capitalism" was brought out by Gyan Publishers, Delhi in 2013. And this is her fifth book.
