Front board is slightly bowed, tiny scrapes on bottom edge and light foxing on edges; otherwise clean, square and tight throughout. Jacket is rubbed on the extremities and rear flap is heavily rubbed on extremeities with remnants of soiling scattered over the panel. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author. Presentation letter from the New Jersey Historical Society laid in. Explores the 300-year history of one of the nation's unique institutions, the General Board of Proprietors of the Eastern Division of New Jersey, established in 1684. One of several proprietary provinces created by the Kings of England, New Jersey is the only state whose colonial proprietary bodies survived the upheavals of the Revolutionary War and continued in existence to modern times.. Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.). The business is run by Richard Chalfin.
