Garden City, NY: Garden City Publishing, 1930. Book. Illus. by Nielsen, Kay, Illustrator. Very Good+. Hardcover. Later printing.. Very clean and beautiful later printing in illustrated dust jacket. Black cloth boards with clean and bright large color paste-on illustration on cover (by Victor Candell) - no chipping or wear. Green lettering on spine. No bumping or fraying to cloth boards. Very slight fading to spine ends. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Clean illustrated endpapers - no names, writing or marks. Pages and edges are clean with green top-stained upper page edges. Gorgeous full-page color illustrations, including lovely frontispiece of a young woman gazing at her image in the water. Illustrated title page. 204 pages. Clean jacket has chipping at top and bottom spine edges, slight edge wear; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A really nice copy of this scarce and wonderful book..

Garden City Publishing Company. Hardcover. Used - Very Good/Good. Garden City Publishing, VG hardcover with G dust jacket. DJ has some mild and moderate tears and chipping, mostly along its top edge and its spine extremes--but is unmarked and now well preserved in a mylar cover. Book binding is tight and pages and textblock are unmarked. Boards show minimal wear and cover image is unmarred and vibrant. Name and date written in pen on inside of front board, along with a little inscription. Penciled price on front loose endpaper. Will pack carefully.
