Light purple covers that have faded some on front and spine, and have a sharp line between faded and non-faded areas on back near top. Front has parts of cup rings in middle. No DJ. Corners and edges of covers have slight wear, and ends of spine have some wear. Endpapers have some tanning, and back endpaper has a stain near side edge. Binding is cracked by title page. Some upper page corners have been bent.; 62 pages .

Du Bois to receive PH.D at Harvard. This collection of poems, deeply indebted to Paul Laurence Dunbar, is her only book.
