About This Item
Washington D.C.: Government Printing Office, 1908. Paper Wrappers. Good. 9" x 11 1/2 " x 15/8" Thick. With General Geology by Sydney H. Ball. 422 pp. Includes index. With 87 plates - maps, many folding some in color, and photographs of mining settlements in Georgetown, Idaho Springs etc . Numerous figures inside text. 4 folding maps in pocket at back. Maps are fine, pocket sides are torn. In tan wrappers; back cover is loose along spine edge for more than half its length. The wrappers are well preserved, and the back tear was probably caused by stress created when the map pocket was pasted in too close to the spine edge.
