Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Inscriptions to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright. Noticeable marks overall. Book has a minor backwards lean.
