Original owner's name and stamp of Dr. Isaac G. Cope (1840-1898) and his son E.C. Cope, both whom were M.D.'s in Farmington and Cope, Ohio. After serving in the Ohio's 15th Regiment during the Civil War he was wounded and eventually became a physician like his father before him and he also operated a pharmacy. Bound in blue-green cloth, spine lettering gilt, soe finger soiling or staining to boards. A very good copy.
