Decorative cloth with small gutter split between front end papers + nickel-sized abrasion on edges of two inside facing pages, else unmarked. Priced ($2.00) jacket in exceptionally fine condition. No Caldecott Medal with seal on front. (Buyer Note: First Edition identified by "A" on copyright page + $2.00 flap price AND NO mention of Junior Literary Guild.)
