Description

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons [1950], 1950. Later printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 4to. Unpaginated. Blue cloth with black lettering and a black decoration on the front board, black lettering on the spine. Price of $2.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. A Caldecott Medal sticker affixed to the front panel of the dust jacket (the winner of the 1951 Caldecott Award). With several full-page colorful illustrations done by the author. Signed by the author without personalization on the title page. Light rubbing to the boards' edges, a small inscription on the free front endpaper; jacket with a closed tear on its front panel and two tiny chips to its spine panel.
