New York: The Bookmailer Inc, 1959. 1st edition. Soft cover. Very Good/No Jacket (as issued). Near VG. 8vo, ~128pp, laminated fabric covers. The rare trade paper edition of this pseudonymous 1959 novel (usually encountered in a smaller format), which has been plausibly attributed to far-right scholar Revilo P. Oliver (who was an important figure in the John Birch Society when this was published). It was definitely the epistolary model on which The Turner Diaries by William Pierce was based, and thus provides an important link between the Eisenhower-era Right and its more militant successors (Oliver split from the Birch Society in 1966 and went on to be closely associated with the National Alliance). This was a publication of far-right publisher Lyle H. Munson. Owner name to front free endpaper (no other markings); else unmarked with some cover soil/toning, spine tilt, reading wear and a few minor interior stains.

n.p.: Myrtle Jones Longacre, 1963. Good. No DJ. Buckram cover is sunned and shows light soiling and shelf wear. Binding is split at title page. Interior is clean and without ownership marks. Photo is of the copy we have at Barbed Wire Books. "A true account of the Jones family."

Rare hardcover 1st edition. Cover has some wear and water marks on the edge. Some shelf wear & corners bumped. Some light tanning. Nice, tight binding. Good for its age. Fictional story of Wannaseska, the Cherokee prophet set during the time the State of Georgia (white settlers) were about to confiscate Cherokee Lands in N. Georgia. The prophet is first hand eye witness and victim to the outrages. Story ends with the Trail, of Tears when the Cherokees agreed to move to Indian Territory in Oklahoma.

Contains a Christmas greeting by Strom Thurmond.
A bookplate-type inscription was inserted into this book: Typed, "Nancy and the children and I feel this book is informative and entertaining. We hope you will enjoy it. With kindest regards and Greetings of the Season. (Signed) Strom Thurmond".

Wear to the corners and spine ends, with one small chip at the rear hinge (see photo). Bound in the original brown cloth, with decorative blind stamping to the spine and boards, both front and rear. The spine is gilt-stamped "Message and Documents 1858-9, Part 1." Below the spine is blind-stamped "House Document." NOT a library discard. Previous owner's name on endpaper. NO underlining. NO margin notes. A small percentage of pages are age-toned or show light foxing. However the vast majority are clean with NO foxing. This is the 1873 HARDCOVER first printing -- not a cheaply-made modern reprint. NOT a library discard. It is bound in the original cloth with a gilt-decorated spine and blind-stamped covers. The spine is uniformly sun-lightened but all gilt lettering and decorations are still bright and distinct. SEE PHOTOS. The cover is faded at the edges. Spine ends and corners are mildly worn.
